Except that it would make you feel as if you were there because
in such scenes, one doesn't see much depth-by-eye either. :-)
I've some very beautiful (IMO) slides I recently took at the shore
near Diamond Head (on Oahu, Hawaii) of folk sailboarding. Used
135mm lenses using miniature format (35mm) film and 75mm lens
spacing. Depth is very limited, but still is very nice. I
need to try projection and viewing from the back of the room
to see if it'll look better from there (with exaggeration of
the limited depth). I'm still quite happy with them. I
would not have preferred toy sailboards with depth.
