Hi Don,

Exactly which part don't you understand?  The miniaturization
effect that results from a hyperstereo, or the hyperstereo
nature of using 175mm stereo base?  So, in your opinion,
using 175mm stereo base is not wide enough to exhibit any
miniaturization in a given scene?  A lot depends on your
subject.  As Abram said, and I agree, a base of 175 mm 
for "home and garden" shots is too large. But for a wide
variety of scenics and distant shots, it might not be a problem.
