[MF3D.FORUM:1389] 3D Photo FriendFinder(sm)

I know we have some folks on this list not on
the photo-3D list...and I want to be sure to
have a good sampling of folks with "medium
format 3D" in their comments field. So I
am cross-posting this announcement I posted
to photo-3D:

* * * * * * * * * * * *

This brings up a problem I would like to address: how
can 3D hobbyists locate other hobbyists in their area?
Many of us have had the experience of pursuing our 3D
hobby in isolation for some time before discovering there
are other active 3D collectors and stereophotographers
in our city, region, or country.

I am therefore rolling out a new free service: The
3D Photo FriendFinder(sm). This service will allow
you to search a database to locate other 3D hobbyists
in your region.

Due to privacy concerns, it is necessary to specifically
register for listing in this database.

Obviously, to really be useful, we need to have at least
one person from every "metropolitan region" register as a
contact person. Ideally, as many people as possible will
sign up for the service.

A self-registration form is available now at:
http://www.rmm3d.com/friend-finder/register.shtml
Please register as soon as possible!

A 3D Photo FriendFinder(sm) search form will be added
after sufficient registrations have been submitted.
