I debated the other day whether to mention this or not.
Now as it becomes more apparent how bad things really are,
I feel I must relay this information.  In addition to the
initial customs delays, the shipment with the black mounts
may suffer delays stemming from the devastating earthquake
that struck India.  The plant is not in the affected region,
but FedEx shipments go through the airport (and customs)
in Mumbai (Bombay).  Earthquake relief efforts have drawn
manpower away from tasks as meaningless as paperwork needed
to deliver cardboard mounts to some stereophotographers half
a world away.  Under the circumstances, I would not dream
of protesting a single second of any delay this may cause.
I hope the sentiment is universal.
