I've been doing stereo for almost four years now. My first stereo
shot was a test done with a single 4x5 pinhole camera on a tripod.
After that I got a pair of MF Lubitel TLRs on a flash bracket just
before I got married and went on our honeymoon to Ireland. I wanted
something bigger than 35mm and more portable than the 4x5 set up I was
then using. The Lubitels made it cheap enough for me to also do
stereo.

Since then I've gotten a Yashicamat 124G that I've occasionally done
slide bar pairs with and a Sputnik. I got the Sputnik because I
wanted better shutter sync than I could get with the Lubitels and
flash sync. After 6-9 months of good results I've had some trouble
with the Sputnik and am now in the middle of doing the RMM Sputnik fix
up.

Like many Sputnik users I wish for a better stereo camera. I also do
pinhole photography and have an on again, off again project to design
and build a MF stereo pinhole camera. I just got a Zero Image 6x9
Multi Format (6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9) pinhole camera and will probably
base my design on it. Unfortunately this afternoon I managed to drop
the camera, with the tripod attached, onto the sidewalk and break it.
Luckily the head of the screw that locks down the camera top sheared
off resulting in the rest of the damage being limited to superficial
scratches. Now I have to wait to hear from Hong Kong about what the
replacement parts will cost. I wish I had at least been able to shoot
a roll of film through the camera before I made this bone headed move.
:(

I administer the MF3D Folio II, which was started by Joel Alpers and
run for a while by Tom Deering.

I also participate in the Third Friday Stereo Dinners in Manhattan and
the New York Stereoscopic Society.

I'd planned on going to the NSA convention in Buffalo this year, but
the arrival of our first child at about the same time means I'll have
to miss the convention.
