I own the Nikon and am having a ball creating high resolution 360 degree
images with it. (The mega pixel Kodak would be great too.)

Forget using a wide angle lens attachment! I get far better results zooming
to the desired focal length and stitching the image together with Spin
Panorama, a $50 program.

FYI, Professional panoramic photographers seldom use wide angle lenses.
