Tell that to Will Landon who has many truly magnificent images in his
books taken with his 5" Roundshot.  The 5" Rounshot's 65mm lens yields a
79 degree vertical angle.  This equates to a little over 14mm
focal-length lens on standard 35mm film!!! 

That's really wide angle....
