It is not a new idea . . . such cameras did exist many years back (I'm
showing my aging mind here) . . . don't remember what they were called, but
they were designed for sheet film, and they produced three negatives via
beamsplitting prisms. They obviously were not exactly a portable deal, but
for those who were avowed masochists, they were just the ticket to a
quality shot.
