I'm not the best one to answer that one however I have had friends with
Widelux's who have reported banding, but no bad reports about the
Horizon. I did use one in Finland some time ago at a conference on
Panoramic photography and it worked well...it was a new camera however.
Thought about the Roundshot? How about the granddaddy of them all, the
venerable #10 Cirkut camera? The roll of film is 10" x 72" fully
rotational and beautiful contact prints with no enlarging....unless you
want murals!
Incidentally, the Noblex's do have irritating problems, No auto turn off
if the power is left on (either model), the 35Sports is a pain to load
in a hurry and akward to unload The viewfinders are very conservative in
what they show (you get miles more than you see in the viewfinder) Your
thumbs sit nicely on both battery covers on the 150F when you are
shooting which sometimes tend to slip out (electrical tape over the
covers is the best safeguard to stop this) However in spite of all of
this I still like using them both.
