Hi.
About your problems with you Horizon. Make sure that you are running you
film all the way under the first drum them up and around the curved film
plan then under the second drum and up back to the film spool. When you
load the film, the film canister will be pointing almost straight down! I
didn't load the camera quite right for the first roll or two and the
effects are as you described. There is a loading diagram on the back of
the hinge plate, but it is really hard to see.
About the blue line, this sounds alot like a fine scratch in the
nagative. Try taking a can of dust off and blowing under the drums and
along the film plane. I have noticed that this camera tends to have more
of a dust problem than regular 35mm cameras.
