Perhaps you are right, and I agree, it is a bit harsh, and very few people
deserve what a clever guy can do to them. However, ignorance of the law is
no excuse - this is a basic premise to the law. I think if you use the
Internet, one has the right to assume that the use is proper and correct.

I will be the first to admit that I would ask the person to remove the
image or work out a credit line of some type. I am not a hurtfull, cruel
man, and I am never out for blood. I also will admit that the fact that
someone used my image on his page or on an eBay page does me very little
harm - certainly not enough to battle over. However, there are times when
drastic and firm action might be required.
