FYI: I have a 980817 with 1/250s. That supports the anniversary theory.

BTW: On this model, the color code for the speed ranges is mixed up. On
the range switch, the slow times are marked orange but on the exposure
dial the fast ones. Should I worry about my collector-genes?  ;-)
