Center filter made with film

Yes, a center filter can be made from film, and has been said, "will turn out
ok"

Does any thinking person really believe that he/she can use a "film made"
center filter that will do anything but DEGRADE the image of a quality lens??
Please stop and think about it!  Think about the work that goes into making a
modern lens, and then do you really want to put a PIECE OF FILM in front of
you lens?  Bite the bullet and buy the filter you need.
