I was flying home from Japan via US Military in May, 1946 when we stopped on
Kwajalain (sp) between Guam and Johnson Islands. The interesting part was that
then General Eisenhour (sp) was on Kwaj on way to Tokyo and the whole plane
had breakfast with him. (not exactly, as he was in officers mess, and the rest
of us were in the transit mess) Incidently Kwaj is huge compared to Johnson
Island. It's so small you couldn't make a panoramic picture of it  (joke)  But
still not as good a story as Simon's   Charles of Sioux City by Wendy's drive
in window
