Interesting subject...and many versions to come I'm sure! I'm a composition
fan. I use almost exclusively Noblex (135 and 150 and 175) for my work. I
have just started playing with 360 degree shots, so composition is
everything. We are located in a resort town (skiing in the winter and every
conceivable sport in the summer). Many photographers take the same shots
that sell...check out the postcards! I look for the unique angles and as
varied a light source as possible...particularly reflections. This
generally involves climbing up or down something to be in a spot that most
people wouldn't think of going, but gives me very unique results. I tend to
be a purist and believe the ultimate picture is one that comes out of the
camera and doesn't have to altered or touched up at all...although I
understand the need for this when it happens.
