Reply settings, HTML & Attachments

Hi,
 I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or being pedantic, but I'm
sure many on this reflector would appreciate shorter, more readable
posts. 
 Please turn off HTML. Set your reply to text only and don't send
attachments to the list. Many people pay by the minute for phone
connections and all the extra data in unrequested attachments is a waste
for everybody. For much the same reason don't quote the entire text of a
thread in your replies. Below is an annotated  message from my e-mail
provider. I recieved it today at the end of a Panaroma-L post.

......This e-mail message originally contained one or more
attached files, but unfortunately we were unable to deliver them to
you........... 
.....the volume of mail that passes through our computers -- typically
more than 3 million messages each day -- 

So you can see that a little etiquette and common sense will make it more
pleasant for everyone.
