Hi,

I'm salivating at the prospect of the new Hassleblad XPAN, has anyone
managed to get their
hands on one of these yet?

For those who havent hear of it, its a 35MM camera which is capable of
taking standard format
or true panoramic shots (ie: something like a 24 x 65mm negative). Its
got a rangefinder but apart from
that has quite a lot of standard slr type features like autoexposure and
motor film advance. It's actually
made by Fuji so will benefit from all their panoramic experience.
Costwise it aint cheap but seems
good value considering the name and functions.

Unfortunately these cameras currently seem to be rarer than hens
teeth. Its worth checking out the hassleblad site,
they have a few sample shots on there.

BTW : Re: Steve Mortons off topic mail about search engines... You could
also try my shareware
product "Findo" at www.findo.net which does something similar to
dogpile. (Blows own trumpet).
