dear gary- do you remember the second one youse built and which i named "the thom mcann" because it looked like a shoe box. it had 50mm lens and i'd visited y'all and when i left it was all apart. got back to new york and  john durniak, picture editor at time magazine said he wanted me to photograph the irs in west virginia with my panoramic camera, i recall. i said "john, we just took the camera apart....."    now get this, gary, john says "put it back together" and i returned on national airlines, we film tested it and  went directly to the job from hampton. i think the resulting two pager across the bottom of the page of time magazine helped to go to third built which we would call "hulcherama" after our father who art in heaven. simon nathan
