Same here this year.. set a record for number of days of rain and lack of sun 
since November last year..[g]

It sure as heck does help.. Loved Inverness and Edinburgh, but haven't been 
into Aberdeen yet.. we hope to get back for an extended visit in 2000.. bring 
lots of film, cameras. etc.. Never had a problem with Glasgow, Manchester, or 
Heathrow airports..
