Hey! This group is becoming boring

Is it because we can't talk about things that interest us,
without being flamed ?
This time next year, or the next, or.. I plan to buy
a Kodaq digital Cirkutt panoramic camera. It's a
computer in a box 2" x 2" x 3" tall with a 3" dia. x
2" tall lens/sensor assembly on top. The sensor is
a tall, narrow CCD (charged couple device) color
image chip attached to the lens, and to the computer
by a fiber optic cable running through the rotating
shaft. Controls include a zoom select ring, a shift
knob, exposure setup wheel, metering button and
exposure button. A typical shoot would require
mounting the camera on a tripod, adjusting lens
zoom and shift, selecting shutter or diaphragm
priority and then pressing the metering button. The
lens will rotate and make a meter record on
the first pass. Pressing the exposure button will
start the exposure pass which will automatically
control the CCD sensitivity (and the lens opening
if required) to produce a perfectly exposed image.
The 200 MB compressed image file (or four 50 MB
files) is stored in a removable flash memory card.
If a 360 deg image is selected, you must learn to
dance your way out of the picture. Coyote Camera
will print you image up to 2 x 16 ft if your zoom
was set at 28 mm, or longer at other settings. I
think the price will be about $527, including a
500 MB memory card.
