I suggest that you start with slide film. It's narrow exposure latitude allows
you to easily discern any exposure anomalies if the camera is not operating
properly. When you are satisfied with the camera's performance, and your
ability to use it, change to print film for your intended purpose. One of the
camera characteristics you'll want to carefully note is the discrepancy between
what the viewfinder shows and what the transparencies contain.
