Scanner Question

List,

	Off subject a bit:  I'm looking at buying a 

	Polaroid Sprintscan 35es,   
	2700dpi 
	with a 3.0 Dynamic range 
	for U$800.00

	Does anyone have any comments on this scanner?  Is there a better deal
available, i.e. Same quality for lower price, or more quality (dpi or
Range) for the same price.
