Michael,

You might want to try whet I have done in the past and that is to put 
the lenses on a 120 or 5x4 monorail or flatbed that can compress far 
enough to give you infinity focus and shoot some test frames.

Obviously 120 would be cheaper as far as film costs go.

I have modified an old Nikon (Kenko or one other) extension tube to 
screw it into a copal #3 shutter that can be used for exposure control.

Otherwise you could use flash in a darkened room.

This is the only sure fire way to truly test acceptable coverage.

The quick option is to simply hold the lens in front of the hole of a 
lensboard and look at the circle of coverage on the ground glass.
