I'm so glad to see that all the erudite people on this ng know when the new
millennium starts, unlike the news media who are all anxious to celebrate a
year early.  Sorry - this really has nothing to do with panoramic
photography - except that there will be some great fireworks displays to
photograph when we celebrate the last year of the second millennium!
