Does this problem sound familiar to any of you?
I vaguely recall people complaining about vertical striping in their
images, otherwise non-explainable....
I don't have a shift-version (only the old Tessar) to test this.

This is about shift in particular and the various head honcho at Noblex
refuse to believe that there is an engineering flaw. It doesn't seem to
matter to them that I have film from four different shift-lens bodies
with the same light leaks.
Do a test for yourself -- shoot a couple of rolls with your 150S with
the lens shifted and see if there is a 1x15mm light streak about one cm
down from the top of the neg and into the image from the right side. The
occurrences I have are sporadic but consistent. I think this news should
be put on the IAPP list too, but even though I'm a member I lost the address.
The UX comes with the slow-speed motor, and contrary to the old
management by the Nobles, the new owners are very reluctant to admit any
flaws or design errors. They are giving me a hell of a hard time about
getting this camera replaced. In the US there are very strong consumer
protection laws and so-called 'lemon laws' about retrofits and
replacements. While the law is mainly meant to be for car manufacturers,
it's actually for everybody -- including Noblex. I hate to think how
many cameras they will have to fix for free.

best,

Jan
