Hello,

I´m trying different approach to stitch images, and this is my experience.

I have put three panos from Benidorm city at Spain, and I´d like to hear comments about them.

If you are interested, here are details about this panoramas:

* I have used Live Picture Java viewer.

* They are compressed about 140K´s.

* Colour diferences between stitched images are due to Photo-CD scanning.

**** Pano "Playa Poniente" **

Three shots with fisheye 8mm. (Sorry IPIX).
Stitched with Panorama Tools (H. Dersch).
Remaped from psphere to cilynder with Panorama Tools, like Photovista.

Using Optimizer from Panorama Tools with my lens coefficients correction, images fit exactly. I think that I get good results.

**** Pano "Mirador" **

Three shots with fisheye 8mm.
Stitched with Photovista (Live Picture).
Remaped from sphere mode to cilynder with Photovista.

I have needed to retouch panorama because it doesn´t fit exactly. I think that Photovista is more sensible to size and align of cropped images.

**** Pano "Cruz" **

Sixteen shots with 28mm zoom lens.
Stitched with Photovista (Live Picture).

Regards

Paco Lorente
