Hulcherama back focal length / register

Mmm....I was checking the registers for the various Hulcherama lenses
(Hassy, Mamiya and Pentax, Kowa added out of personal interest....can
one buy generic lens plates Gary?):
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hasselblad 500/2000 bayonet 74.90
Kowa Six/Super 66 breech lock 79.00
Mamiya 645 bayonet 63.30
Pentax 645 bayonet 70.87
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Now Canon EOS register is 44.0mm....this means less than 20mm difference with
Mamiya....
Olympus also has a 24mm shift lens, with an even larger register
(46mm), and a much smaller diameter (small enough to fit inside an
EOS mount).
All this said & done....I can't help wondering how much 'inboard'
depth one could create by stripping the very rear of such a lens, and
protrude the lens *through* a Mamiya lens.
Doesn't seem impossible IMNSHO....:-))
Thanx for letting me ramble....;-))
