I had one.
Comments:
--Hard to load film into special cassettes; if there are no (2) cassettes
with the camera; forget buying it.
--Three "slowish" shutter speeds, so you have to use slow film, like 50ASA,
or use a C-41 process b/w film.
--Lens really not that sharp. And that's the real drawback; the optics are
so-so. Although you have a 24x110mm negative, you can't make big prints (you
need a 4x5 enlarger or scanner area).
The 50mm lens of the Nobex 120 model is miuch, miuch sharper, and provides
the same pespective. That would be a much better choice, albeit a much
bigger camera. No laoding trouble here, though!
These FT-2 are being ofered for sale constanty on Ebay and camera flea
markets. The reason is obvious: people want to get rid of them.
This is my strong negative opinion.
If they made any with reay sharp lenses, I would want one, and keep using it.
