Panoramic Scanning

Excuse me if this is old ground...I've been off the list for
about 1 1/2 years...

Both the Minolta Dual Scan and Polaroid SprintScan have fixed
sensor arrays.  The film, in a carrier, is pulled past the 
sensor.  Has anyone adapted a Minolta or Polaroid carrier/
sleeve so that it continues past the standard 24mm x 36mm
frame and will do a single scan on a long frame from a Horizon 
or Noblex?
