Hi,
I had much the same experience, except that I was trying to get the lab
to print stereo pairs.
I ran a roll of print film thru my View-Master Personal (just
experimenting!) and brought it to a local mini-lab. They managed to
develop the roll and return it uncut, that was very encouraging, but when
I tried to get it printed it was like I was talking a foreign language to
the tech. He could not understand why there were so many images and
wanted to know if I was using a 1/4 frame camera!
To make a long story short..... I did get some usable stereo pairs. But
the moral here is to talk to the person processing your film before you
even hand it over to them. If they can even pronounce 'reciprocity
failure' then you have a fair chance of getting your stuff done right :-)
Regards, David Quackenbush
