Dear whoever,
in case you haven't heard, IPIrX is a low quality immersive imaging
solution and the practices of IPrIX are less than ethical. They persecute
optics professors and anyone challenging (or not) their ridiculous
patent
claim.
I am sorry to hear that another medium has been fooled by the IPrIX
propaganda and can only hope that they go down the drain, as they haven't
made a single dollar, it is all IPO money, and then, the NYT really
is
not what it used to be.
Very stupid decision to go with IPrIXes horrible quality. Did they pay
someone to adopt IPrIX or is someone in charge of multimedia THAT blind
that he/she chose the very worst of VR technologies?
You "big guys" almost always get it wrong, _they_ seem to be able to
coax
you into an image-sinking, stinking IPrIX solution.
Congratulations!
