Scanning 35mm Panoramics - Horizon 202 & Noblex 135

I just began scanning in panoramic images using HP's 1st generation
film/slide scanner, model C5100A.  It will scan more than a standard
35mm negative but not the full width of a panoramic shot by either a
Horion 202 of Noblex 135.   Couple of questions:

	Is there a way of changing what it will scan?   

	Does the latest HP scanner better accomodate panoramics?
