Panorama effects

Hi all!

I am envolved in the production of an ad for this
panorama technology. My company plans to offer services
in this area.

I would like to get some advice on how to make some
cool effects to show the essence of a panorama.
For example, I saw the circular panorama in perspective
in the Kodak page:

Apart from other solutions that I may develop, does anybody can
give me an hint for which kind of program (Corel? Photoshop?) can
I use to make an effect like the one in that page?
And what function to use?

Soon I hope to have a Internet version for a mall virtual
tour that we have developed here and I'll post in the URL
(at the moment it is only available in multimedia kioks).
