there are so many ready-nade panoramic camera why would you
want to build less than already exists. state your needs and i'll try to
match up the camera. meanwhile the hasseblad xpan should do you until you
realize it's for welltodo backpackers and learn firsthand what you really
need. look in back of that leading nontechnical  photo journal,shutterbug,
for advt of buddy graves. he was the genius at prof camera nyc who did
many of the things that couldn't be done that i wanted. simon nathan

I came across an old Al Satterwhite book that I have and saw a nice Nikon
F2 custom job that Satterwhite owns. It is a 35mm job with a 1:3 side to
length film ratio, has two interchangeable largeformat lenses mounted on
cones (like the Linhof Technorama lenses) and has a nice optical finder.
The prism and shutter assembly has been removed. On the whole, it looks
like such a fantastically handy camera.
