Custom modifications - who does this?

Merry Christmas everyone!

I am just curious to find out, could anyone tell me which company takes 
ready made cameras and custom modifies them to be panoramic cameras? That 
or which company makes custom mods, period?

I came across an old Al Satterwhite book that I have and saw a nice Nikon 
F2 custom job that Satterwhite owns. It is a 35mm job with a 1:3 side to 
length film ratio, has two interchangeable largeformat lenses mounted on 
cones (like the Linhof Technorama lenses) and has a nice optical finder. 
The prism and shutter assembly has been removed. On the whole, it looks 
like such a fantastically handy camera.
