Yer I hear you loud and clear Clayton - great points.

Just because Mark Philopousos (?) doesn't use a Wilson or Head racket
doesn't mean he is an inferior player, or can't be No.1, in the world!!!
It's all in how you use your tools.

I know of some fine 'photographic artists' in Oz that 'only' shot with 35mm.

A Rolls Royce does not a Jack Brabham make.

I too have some 48" enlargements and some 60"s, shot with the 135U and yes
they are sharp.

I get lots of comments on my Minolta equipment, 'and you shot that award
winning image on a what ???' Mostly from snobs with Nikons!!!
