dear sir,
and it is madam, thank you. i would have probably just traded cameras with
the guy who said that,(temporarily); especially if i felt strongly that the
results were going to be so much greater. while some people may resent
your illustrious career, i am not one of them. in fact, i am fascinated
with people of achievement.
well, i am fascinated with people, period. i guess i mean that i am not
intimidated or resentful of your presence, but find you very interesting and
respect your experience. however, old ways do not yield easily to new ways
and when they
do yield, we lose a lot of technical and scientific information in the
process, i think.
i find that very sad. the launching pad gets smaller and smaller. i don't
understand
why we can't at least preserve the science of the old even after we have come
up
with more spontaneous and expedient technology. sometimes we do not
understand that a person who is rejecting our idea is not necessarily
rejecting us.
e.e. cummings? gosh i haven't read him since high school. will have to look
him up again. was just trying to whisper and speak without authority. what
you did worked and that is what i go for--whatever is effective. if you had
done something
else, you may have been booted out and never gained all this wonderful
experience that you are now sharing with us. so when did you finally get a
chance
to use that wonderful camera of yours? and thank you for giving me this
vehicle.
i think i shall never capitalize again! you are charming!
