Flextight or Microtek

Hi,

I'm tempted by the Flextight Photo scanner except for the rather high price tag.
On the other hand there is Microtek 4000 (or Polaroid 4000) for 35 mm film. I
wonder if 120 film can be effectively scanned by any 35mm scanners, particularly
the Microtek 4000, and stitched together without leaving traces (and without
damaging the original).

The Microtek is slightly higher in resolution compared with Flextight Photos'
3200 dpi, which will be a plus for my Noblex and Xpan slides. But much of my
originals are still in 6x9. With a price 7 time that of the Microtek, the flexi
certainly is tight on price. But there seem not to be much choices for 120 film
if stitching would not work. I personally don't think high end flatbeds are
worth of considering for 120 films since they approach Flextight in price but
trail behind in quality.

Any insight and experience helping me make the decision would be greatly
appreciated.

Regards,
Zonghou Xiong
