The above is a an example of doing a group using
PhotoVista and a digital camera. I hand held my Kodak
DC120. Who needs an expensive pan head, not me! (To be
honest I usually do use a tripod rig. It cost me $50.
A picture of it is available in the PPC images
gallery)
Where the stitch is the faces were blurred. I used
PhotoShop to rubber stamp the clear faces over the
blurred ones. Sounds like a lot of work, but only
takes a few minutes. My whole setup including camera,
PhotoVista, and PhotoShop LE would cost about $500.
Maybe Richard would let me take the group photo at the
April Meeting in DC? No film, no processing. It takes
longer to print the 40 incher than it does to do the
stitch and rubber stamp the faces!
I once did a big group at a convention. I rubber
stamped one guy into 20 empty seats, just for fun. He
bought both prints. ;-)
