I would recommend not running it without a fan. It's pretty hard on the
mechanism. If she doesn't have fans, she should get them from Jim Johnson.
Running  with no fans, the speed is upwards of 1/30th of a sec. Taking
apart the mechanism is relatively easy - a few less parts than the governor
model. It's pretty much like a governor model , with a couple of extra
levers at the bottom. Jamie
