You are right the shuft could be worth it. It is just sour grapes on my part. MY Noblex does not have shift. For down shift why not just lower the tripoid my gitzo goes down to 15 in and I can spread the legs to the ground and even lower by taking off the center post and put on the Gitzo short center post and you are on the ground. There are many ways to fix up a bracket but it is you not I. Take care James Romeo

There are many bracket's that would work look around a camera show you could find one that would work or adapted to work cheep or if you want to many new ones for flash could be adapted. The shift on the noblex is so slight is it worth it ???

Dear Garet,
Some tripood centerposts can be removed and inserted from the bottom, but
that would only give you low angle shots (and maybe legs).
A fairly simple - but stiff - rectangular bracket could be fabricated so you
could turn the camera over and have another 1/4-20 tripod bushing.
