I want to strangle someone, says IT Manager

A record number of responses have been coming in from IT / MIS who
clearly value the opportunity to air their views and frustrations on the
subject of copier "connectivity". Resellers, too, have been forthright in
making their feelings known.

Ever wondered what the IT / MIS Manager would say if asked straight out
"Why won't you connect my Copier-Printer to your network"? Ever
wondered what digital copier customers are saying "post-sale" about the
way they've been handled throughout the sales process and afterwards?

Find out at

IT / MIS are human (like the rest of us). They don't think that they are
complicated folk. They just know what they want, know where to find it
and expect anyone new to their territory to slot seamlessly into their world.
After all, the copier industry is targetting them, not the other way around.

So, if you are an IT / MIS Manager, a Facilities Manager or Buyer of
network printing solutions you will find this feedback useful.

Or maybe you have given up buying analog copiers (good idea) and have
bought digital copiers, which are now sitting idly in the corner doing nothing
more interesting than spitting out a few copies (bad idea), and you're
wondering is that all you plan to do with it for the next 3 to 5 years.

If you are a reseller or a manufacturer, and customer feed-back is important
to you, then you might want to check out reader replies to our
Connectivity Survey. All replies have been treated in strictest confidence ;
so no names are mentioned.

Digital Times Magazine is in contact with over 12,500 IT / MIS and we are
still compiling feedback. We are also in regular contact with thousands of
resellers and manufacturers from all over the world.
Each party is welcome to participate in this ongoing research.
