Retouching: Busy scenes and stitched panorama's -- help

Took another set of multishot pana pics over the weekend in London. I have done a number of sets in the past but in fairly sparsely populated places. I now find shots with half a taxi on one edge. To some extent I can correct things using the overlap but is there anyone there who has experience in removing unwanted bits of cars etc? Any tips for the novice?
