I have done lots of stitched panoramas. I use the Kiadan Kiwi+ head. it
works well but is expensive. I also use their leveling head that makes
leveling the camera easy. As for a tripod I use a Gitzo Carbon Fiber tripod
(also expensive). You can find Kiadan at www.kiadan.com
