The Bogen is great. I use it for pans and my view camera and 6x6 I do not use digatal
I mount the prints next to each outher paladiam prints.
You can buy just the pan head ,leveling head or all togather as a Qtvr system.
The leveling head is heavey but you can use it just with the pan head.
You can do with out it if you leavel the tripod The match of the prints are great I sold a number of the prints at my last show. At B#H the head alone is $119.95

Joe
I have had excellent luck with the new Bogen Pan head.... very sophisticated
and much less $$ than the Kaidan head. The only draw back, its a bit big
and heavy, hard to backpack with... its on the Bogen web site. Very
precisioned.
The only drawback I had with stitching was limitations of file sizes. On
Windows 98, their is some type of temp. file size limitation that the
stitching programs use... once you pass this, the programs crash. I kept
hitting that ceiling. David Rowe from Enroute imaging discovered this
shortcoming. I hear that Windows NT does not have the same problem though?
What I am really curious about is whether any of these limitations exist on
the Mac?
I was considering buying Apples Quick time VR stitched (not sure I
got the name right) Does anyone have experience with this product for
stitching large files? By large, I was stitching 8 200 MB files.
