Thank you for the support.... you kinda reminded me of the benefits of
such a forum...
As for your comments.... an optical bench is not that answer in this
rotational camera, but it could act as a starting point.....but I am way
past that. The issue here is not entering into the brain box the optical
bench fl, but rather the fl that is in sync with motor speed which will
utilize the perfect amount of film to prevent the slightest bit of
compression or stretch. If there was a control knob to do this, it might
also be effective, but quite confusing with all the different lenses, etc.
So unfortunately, the only way to match everything up, is by changing the fl
in the brain box.
When I started testing this, I had no idea it would be this involved.
Mr. Seitz recommends shooting letters, however, I tried that. My method of
matching aspect ratios of buildings much more accurate. I think the
Seitz's answer short for two reasons, one is, as you say, it's there second
language and other reason is they don't have that much time for tech.
support, they have to build cameras... It's a unique camera with unique set
of circumstances surrounding every aspect of it :-)
