>How do you get a print this
big?
> 12 feet high and 110 feet long, and have made
several that were 8 feet by 50 feet.
Mural prints are enlarged in sections onto
photo paper 52 inches wide by the height of the mural. Wider paper is
available, but the instalation becomes a real bear. Color prints are
machine processed but black & white can be tray processed by hand. The
final product is either laminated and mounted or wet mounted on the hanging
wall. You will be amazed at the wonderful 3-D effect a pan photo makes
when mounted in a circular shape and you are standing in the right spot.
The big negative that a cirkut makes is perfect for this type of work.
I've made about twelve huge prints so far and have just received a commission to
make an 18 foot high by 60 foot mural for the National Park Service. This
mural however will be digitally printed in Vancouver B.C. Gotta get modern
sometimes....
