The Applet isn't "mine."  I have used it the past couple years with the
author's permission.  It has served me well.  The first time I used it;
caused quite a commotion.  Competing shows were calling to get Placebase to
help them,  The map was a perfect answer for the use I needed.  As to the
question about does it provide perspective correction?  I am not sure what
you mean.
