Scala b/w transparency film

I can't remember whether or not I posted all of this to the listserv, so
if this is a repeat-- sorry... John B ran some of the Scala b/w slides I
shot at the Oakland stereo club, and reports they projected well. None of
the problems associated with trying to project reversed T-Max 100, which
depolarizes if your projector has the polarizers between the slide and the
lamp, rather than between the slide and the lens. T-Max is also slow-- you
have to shoot it as though it were asa 50 if you plan to reverse process
it. Scala's a very warm b/w, with excellent sharpness and tonality. Also,
it's fast enough (asa 200) to shoot at high f-stops, and doesn't look
grainy. (As I mentioned in an earlier post, Duggal Photo in NYC is *the*
place to buy it and get it processed if you want quality work.)
