Does anyone know a reference onmy observation that if one views stereopairs
in a cross-eyed manner and separates the pairs slowly, keeping stereopsis,the
virtual image gets smaller. I worked out the geometry for this and also its
not dis-similar to the parallel viewing geometry.These equations suggest that
the stereo image we view in the real world is a little larger than the
monocular image.Thorsten Weisel of Rockefeller Univ. didnt know of any prior
references. Anyone out there? Prof. Pieczenik
